Dr. Ney underlined that International Criminal Law is at the pinnacle of almost 2000 years of legal efforts to curb the atrocities of war. The Nuremberg judgements 1945 and the Nuremberg principles changed social mores and had an enduring impact on the way we think. Dr. Ney stressed that they became a cornerstone of a rules-based international order. Both India and Germany are key partners that subscribe to such an international order.
