Ambassador Dr Ney hosts the newly designated Indian Ambassador to Germany
Ambassador Dr Martin Ney invited the newly designated Indian Ambassador to Germany, Mrs Mukta Dutta Tomar for dinner, at his residence in New Delhi on 11th April.
They discussed the upcoming Indo-German Intergovernmental Consultations in late May as well as other aspects of the bilateral agenda between both countries.
Mrs Tomar has been appointed Ambassador of India to the Federal Republic of Germany in April 2017. Since her joining the Indian Foreign Service, Mrs Tomar has held several diplomatic assignments, in Indian Embassies in Madrid, Kathmandu, Paris and Yangon.
She has served at the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations in New York. She was also Deputy High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh and Consul General of India in Chicago.
