German Election Party at the German Embassy

A Voting Game, which was especially designed for the election party, attracted great interest from the guests. With the help of their smartphones, the guests were supposed to log in and predict the results of the election. Tim Polster-Kazizke from GIZ was the lucky winner of a Nikon Coolpix S2900 digital camera!
A panel discussion with Indian and German experts highlighted the possible effects of the election on German foreign policy and Indo-German relations. Former Indian Ambassador to the Netherlands and an expert on European politics, Bhaswati Mukerjee and Jyoti Malhotra, well know Indian Express journalist, were the panelists from the Indian side. Jan Ross, correspondent of the Time in South Asia, added the German perspective to the panel discussion.
