The German Research Foundation (DFG/Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft) has established at the universities of Kassel and Göttingen. The project will start on 1 April 2016 and is initially funded with a total of 3.7 million Euros. International partners are also involved, including the University of Agricultural Sciences in Bangalore, India, where the cooperating projects will be co-financed with 1.2 million Euros from the Indian side.

A delegation of 18 German universities, research and funding institutions will tour across India and present their master and PhD Opportunities in New Delhi and Bangalore in February 2014. The Expo will present an excellent platform for a one-to-one exchange with representatives of German universities and research organisations. It is a great opportunity to ask anything a student or young researcher wants to know, in order to prepare a study or research stay in Germany!

For ten years International Max Planck Research Schools (IMPRS) have been successfully tempting young talented students from all over the world to come to Germany. The IMPRS cooperate with their German partner universities to provide a structured framework for doctoral studies and create excellent research conditions for young researchers. Half of the almost 3,000 doctoral students at the IMPRS come from abroad.
