State Minister Bleser attended the opening of World Food on the dais and addressed the audience. He also had bilateral meetings with the Minister for Food Processing Industry, Ms. Harsimrat Kaur Badal and the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Radha Mohan Singh.

The World Food India, organized for the first time by the Ministry of Food Processing from 3rd to 5th of November 2017 in New Delhi and opened by PM Modi aims to provide a number one platform to deepen German business partnership with Indian food processing. Having accepted the status of a Partner Country, World Food India will offer German business sterling opportunities to showcase their companies and product range as well as to conduct networking with political and business decision makers.

Many German companies have already invested in India und supported the modernization of the food processing sector by improving processing and logistics. The event, organized by the German Agribusiness Alliance/OAV and the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce New Delhi focused on value adding and best practice cases.
