The ‚Alliance for Dual VET‘ took important decisions for its further development during a meeting of the Indian industrialists on invitation by Ambassador Dr. Martin Ney. The aim of the alliance, which was founded in March, is to contribute to the establishment of dual training structures in India similar to German standards.

India and Germany to cooperate on Semi High Speed Rail

Germany and India signed a Joint Declaration of Intent to further deepen their cooperation in the railway sector on 10th October, 2017.  Both countries will jointly cooperate to upgrade the current passenger services in India up to 200 km per hour. A joint Indo-German feasibility study on Semi-High-Speed trains on the current rail corridor between Chennai and Kazipet via Vijayawada (643 km) will be carried out.
