Kinder Ambassadors

They're regular kids - just like you. But for us, they're very special. These are the 'Kinder Ambassadors' or 'Young Ambassadors' - children in Indian schools who have excelled in learning German and will help strengthen the friendship between Germany and India. We are pleased to introduce you to the toppers of the Fit in Deutsch examinations for 2012. And we hope you will join the list next year.

The Goethe-Institut's German language examinations match the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). They range from A1 for beginners to C2 for language skills at the highest level. Passing the Fit in Deutsch Levels 1 & 2 examinations prove that you can make yourself understood in simple German.

Anushka Baisoya

Anushka Baisoya

Anushka is a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Masjid Moth, in New Delhi. German language is her favourite subject because she likes the way the language is taught in school, with lots of language games and performing listening activities. The German language has introduced her to the rich culture and traditions of the country. She topped the Fit in German Level I exam, which gives her the chance to go to Germany and experience the country first-hand.

Yatin Sharma

Yatin Sharma

Yatin Sharma studies in Delhi Public School, Rohini in New Delhi. He is a music buff as well as an avid cricketer, representing the school team in many matches. German is his favourite subject, which he was introduced to through his sister’s German textbooks. Yatin topped the Fit in Deutsch Level I exam and looks forward to attending the youth camp in Germany. He loves to read up on technology and innovations and hopes he can study in Germany one day.

Preetish Mishra

Preetish Mishra

12-year-old Preetish is a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Masjid Moth in New Delhi. He has been learning German at school for the last three years and he finds it fun to talk in German because it is an interesting language. Preetish enjoys the songs and listening activities in his German class the most. His hobbies include learning new languages, and that's why he's thrilled to top in the Fit in Deutsch Level I exams.

Devisha Arora

Devisha Arora

Devisha is a student of Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj in New Delhi. She chose German as part of her school curriculum seven years back without giving much thought to it. Now she loves the language and is passionately pursuing it with the aim of building a career in German. Devisha topped the Fit in Deutsch Level II exams by securing 79/80. But she still feels she has the scope to improve and score full marks next time!

Pranay Jain

Pranay Jain

Pranay Jain studies in Delhi Public School, Rohini in New Delhi and has been learning German for the last seven years. He has participated in an Indo-German exchange programme with the German school 'Die Loburg'. He has also participated in many German language competitions and quizzes and has won a scholarship to a youth camp in Kerala by ranking in the national top 20 in the International Goethe Quiz on Germany. Pranay topped the Fit in Deutsch Level II exams.
