Indo-German Joint Call for Proposals in the area of Biotechnology
The Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), invite proposals for the programme “Grant to Support International Collaboration” between Indian and German researchers in the field of Biotechnology.
Proposals may only be made by researchers affiliated to research institutions / university faculties and departments recognised by the respective Indian and German funding organisations.
The objectives of this scheme is to promote and strengthen the research cooperation in the field of biotechnology between the two countries, by providing funding to allow joint research activities for internationally excellent research in relevant areas of mutual interest and benefit to be derived from bilateral cooperation and with the desire to strengthen the research cooperation on the basis of equality.
Applications may be submitted electronically and simultaneously at any time, before 21 June, 2013 by the Indian researcher at the DBT, New Delhi, and at the respective disciplinary Division of, DFG, Bonn, by the German researchers as per the DFG Guidelines (DFG Form “1.813 – 12/12” / website:
