Ilija Trojanow, Ranjit Hoskote at launch of ‘Confluences: Forgotten Histories from East and West’
At the launch of their book, ‘Confluences: Forgotten Histories from East and West’, authors Ranjit Hoskote and Ilija Trojanow argued that the lifeblood of culture is confluence, the mingling of dissimilar and even contrary elements. The event was held at the Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan in New Delhi on 16th January 2012.
Reflecting on various societies, religious traditions and cultural blocs, Hoskote and Trojanow uncovered many forgotten histories of the Other within the Self.
