Science Circle Lecture: Reverend and Professor Dr. Dr. Margot Käßmann talked about Reformation and Education

The German Embassy New Delhi and German House for Research and Innovation New Delhi organized a Science Circle Lecture on Reformation and Education by Reverend and Professor Dr Dr Margot Käßmann on 19th February at the German Embassy New Delhi.
Prof Käßmann serves as a special envoy of the Evangelical Church in Germany for the Reformation Anniversary Celebration 2017. Prof Käßmann delivered a very interesting and informative lecture which was followed by an interactive Q&A session with students of premier Indian institutes.
The event began with an opening speech by Stephan Lanzinger, Counsellor and Head of the Science and Technology Department, German Embassy New Delhi, who highlighted the role of Indo-German cooperation in the field of science and technology. Prof Ummu Salma Bava, Director of Europe Area Studies Programme and Professor of European Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, was invited to introduce Prof Margot Käßmann.
