Visit of Air Chief Marshal NAK Browne, Chief of Indian Air Force, to Germany

In September 2011, Air Chief Marshal (ACM) NAK Browne, together with his wife, paid a five-day visit to Germany. The visit followed an invitation of the Chief of the Deutsche Luftwaffe (German Air Force), Lieutenant General Arne Kreuzinger-Janik.

After talks with the Chief of the Luftwaffe in Berlin, ACM Browne was taken to southern Germany to visit a fighter wing of the Luftwaffe which operates the EUROFIGHTER. He also interacted with representatives of CASSIDIAN, which builds the EUROFIGHTER and cooperates with the Luftwaffe on the operation of this 4thgeneration fighter with regard to maintenance and logistics. The visit was rounded up with a tour of the famed Neuschwanstein castle.
