Schengen Visa
To apply for a Schengen Visa at the German Consulate General's Visa Department the applicant's main destination has to be Germany or Iceland.
Currently the processing time for Schengen visa is up to 3 working days.
To apply for a Schengen Visa at the German Consulate General's Visa Department the applicant's main destination has to be Germany or Iceland (as substantiated by the necessary documentation). If the applicant's main destination is any other Schengen country, the applicant will have to apply at the Consulate General of that country, in accordance with the Schengen Visa Codex.
A Schengen tourist visa has to be applied for when an applicant wishes to visit Germany for tourism or sight-seeing purposes.
