The magazine Deutschland.de is available across 180 countries in 11 languages, which makes it the most international German magazine and is aimed at decision-makers abroad. It provides information about the latest topics from Germany and Europe and reports about bilateral developments between Germany and other parts of the world in its regional editions. The magazine is published by Frankfurter Societäts-Medien GmbH in cooperation with the Federal Foreign Office, Berlin.

Young Germany is a platform for the youth from all over the world and functions mainly as an advisor and a forum for education and studies, career and lifestyle. It provides tips on studying and student jobs in Germany, house-hunting and networking.

Destination Germany

For over 60 years the German National Tourist Board (GNTB) promotes Germany as a travel destination abroad on behalf of the German Federal Government. The GNTB has established 29 agencies abroad and distribution agencies and works very closely with partners like Lufthansa and the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK e.V.) on areas of focus like culture and wellness. The highlight of 2012 was documenta 13, the 300th birth anniversary of Frederick the Great and the 800th year of existence of the St. Thomas Boys Choir of Leipzig.

Germany’s OSCE Chairmanship in 2016 – “Renewing dialogue, rebuilding trust, restoring security”

On 1 January 2016 Germany has assumed the Chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Co‑operation in Europe (OSCE) and is therefore be responsible for steering the Organization safely through the stormy tides of crises and challenges in 2016. Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier has presented the details of the Chairmanship’s programme to the 57 OSCE participating States in Vienna on 14 January 2016.
