Consul General Dr. Jürgen Morhard made his first official visit to Pune to attend a 2-day seminar on EU-India Cooperation on Sustainable Urbanisation in Pune. The seminar was organized by the Global Relations Forum together with the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung and covered a plethora of topics ranging from India’s urban development challenges and smart cities to the European experience – sustainable, inclusive, growing smart cities, what sets Euro cities apart and how to bring civil society and women on board the urbanization train to the future of EU-India cooperation on urban development and more.
