At the Language Department of the Max Mueller Bhavan in Kolkata one can learn German at all levels (Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced levels) through progressively structured courses. Apart from Weekend Programme, Intensive Programme and Super Intensive Programme Max Mueller Bhavan offers Corporate Programme " Fit for Germany ", Translation Course, Young People’s Programme and Children's Programme. Specially designed courses for companies, institutions and individuals are offered on the basis of requirements as to objectives, course content, duration, number of learning sessions, dates, course location and number of participants.
Students have access to modern Information Centre and Language Library, with its stock of books (in German as well as English), newspapers and magazines, language cassettes, music cassettes, CDs, videos and online services. One can also attend the wide range of cultural programmes taking place in Max Mueller Bhavan.
