The DAAD Information point situated at the German Consulate General in Bengaluru provides comprehensive and free advice to all those interested in studying and research in Germany.

Services include:
- Information sessions on Higher Studies and Research Opportunities in Germany
- Individual counselling by prior appointment
- Education fairs
- Presentations at partner institutions, universities or special occasions

Scholarship Announcements

About 250,000 foreign students currently study in Germany, of which about 6000 are Indians. Most of the German universities are sponsored by the state to keep study-fees affordable, and the number of scholarships available keeps increasing. Please note that the deadline for submission of applications for DAAD PhD / Sandwich / Short Term / Post Doc Scholarships is 1 October at the DAAD New Delhi Office.

A confirmation mail from DAAD is MANDATORY to visit the office.

Please note that DAAD will not answer questions regarding visas but will inform you about the higher education programmes and admission procedure in Germany.

MON - THU: 08:00 - 16:00 hrs.

FRI:             08:00 - 15:00 hrs.

Please note: Timings for appointments are Mondays and Wednesdays from 08:00 - 12:30 hrs and from 14:00 - 15:00 hrs.
