schedule an appointment
to submit your visa application. Kindly book one appointment per applicant.

Shortly before your appointment, please verify the current exchange rate for your visa fee on this website and obtain the demand draft, payable to the “Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Bangalore”. |
Since your application will be forwarded to the competent authorities in Germany, the consulate requires approximately six to eight weeks to process your visa application.
Information on German knowledge requirement
Since Germany has amended its law relating to foreigners in 2007, visa applicants are required to present evidence of basic knowledge of the German language in the event of family reunion of spouses.
