A large number of Indian nationals in Germany have received calls from criminals pretending to work for the Indian Embassy or Indian Consulates in Germany. These criminals demanded payments to settle alleged visa or passport issues. In case you receive such a phone call and are unsure about the identity of the caller, contact the Indian Embassy or Consulate for clarification.
